One lens for tree cover and open ground

Trail light changes every thirty seconds. Canopy, clearing, canopy again. The Virginia Key uses a light-reactive lens that follows those swings on its own, in a semi-rimless carrier shaped to hold wind off the eye at speed.

Who it's for

Trail runners and gravel riders on mixed-cover routes, and anyone starting before the sun is properly up.

  • Run from shade into open sun without stopping to swap or lift the lens — the tint follows the light.
  • Hold your eyes open on fast descents, because the wrapped profile breaks the airflow before it reaches them.
  • Stay put on rough ground: long rubber temple tips curve in behind the ear instead of gripping the side of your head.
  • Set off in near-dark and stay in the same pair three hours later, when the route has fully opened up.
  • Get full UV400 cover on every lens option.

Made for routes that change their mind.

Built for changing light under tree cover

A trail is the one place where a fixed tint is always wrong. Under canopy a dark lens costs you the roots and the rocks; out in the clearing a light one leaves you squinting. A photochromic lens solves it by changing itself — the coating darkens as UV rises and clears again within a minute or two of dropping back into shade, so you keep a usable picture through both without touching the glasses. The rest of the design is about the lens staying in front of your eyes while the ground is throwing you around: a semi-rimless shield with an open lower edge that stays out of your downhill sightline, two separately adjustable silicone nose pads, and long rubber temple tips that hook in behind the ear and hold their bite once you start sweating. Made for trail running, gravel, forest loops and early starts.

BRIGHT DAYLIGHT

Windproof, Open-Air Ready

A semi-rimless shield built to stay clear in moving air. Grey, transparent or red lens tints, every one rated 100% UV400. Windproof matters most on a descent, when the air is doing the work and you still need to read the line in front of the wheel.

IN THE BOX

Boxed, Pouched, Ready

A presentation box, a microfibre pouch and a cleaning cloth ship with every pair. Out on loose ground the cloth earns its place quickly, because dust settles on a lens long before anything marks it. The box is what the frame goes back into when the season ends.

THE FIT

Two Pads, Long Rubber Tips

Two adjustable silicone nose pads and long rubber tips that curve behind the ear. It stays exactly where you set it. The pads move independently for height and angle, and the tips run long enough to hold through the kind of chatter a rough surface sends up.
