The frame you look past

Most running sunglasses put a rim exactly where you look when you check your watch. The Venetian doesn't. A single brow bar holds the lens from above and the lower edge is left completely open, so the bottom third of your vision is glass and nothing else. Glance down mid-stride and you see your split, not a piece of plastic.

The lens is one continuous wraparound shield across both eyes — no centre bridge cutting the view in half, no seam to look through. Polarized, 100% UV400, anti-scratch coated.

Built for long runs that end without marks on your nose

The weight that a rimless-bottom frame saves has to be carried somewhere, and here it is carried by a moulded, ribbed saddle bridge that sits across the nose rather than pinching it on two small pads. Broad contact, low pressure — the reason people take these off after two hours and find nothing pressed into their skin.

The temples are skeletonised, cut through with an open channel that removes material without giving up stiffness, and they finish in curved rubber tips that stay put when your face is wet. The TR90 frame flexes rather than fights the shape of your head.

Choose a black frame with a silver mirror for a full performance look, or a transparent crystal frame with a soft purple mirror that reads closer to everyday eyewear. Lens material comes in polycarbonate or TAC. It is the rare running pair you can keep on for coffee afterwards.
