Everything else in the range sits away from your face. The Overtown does the opposite — a foam gasket runs the full inside edge of the frame so wind, grit and road dust stop at the frame instead of ending up in your eye.

Built to seal wind and dust out of the eye

Watering eyes are not a light problem, they are an airflow problem. Ordinary sunglasses sit a few millimetres off the face, and at running or riding speed that gap works like a duct: air accelerates through it, dries the eye, and the eye answers by watering. The Overtown closes the gap. A soft foam gasket follows the full inside perimeter of the frame — across the brow, down the outer edge, along the cheekbone — so the air breaks against the frame rather than being funnelled behind the lens. The same seal is what keeps grit, pollen and road spray on the outside. The carrier is a full-rim TR90 shell that holds the gasket in even contact under load instead of flexing away from the face, and the temples run wide enough to stay clear of a helmet strap. Made for cold-morning runs, open-road riding, unsealed surfaces and traffic.
